The Poet’s Companion: A Guide to the Pleasures of Writing Poetry
You can always tell a book is well-loved when it gets nice and battered, a little spine-wrecked and broken. It kick-starts my brain nicely whenever I feel like writing poetry.

Most of my favorite novels came from the library or were gifts… But those two, I bought myself, and loved.
